Nimcy and her companion were excellent hosts, very friendly. The terrace was gorgeous, everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. I liked everything.

All the facilities and the outdoor rooftop were great. They cleaned everything daily, including the kitchen and showers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The walls were thin, so I could hear the next door easily.

There’s no restaurant service, but there is a common area with a kitchen, fridge, washer, and microwave. For the price, I don’t think you can ask for more. They deliver what they promise. Sandra is a charming woman.

I stayed in a spacious, spotless private room with two beds, and the shared bathroom was just next door—something I’d already expected because most rooms there share a bath. The spot is super central, the building is very quiet, and there’s a calm inner courtyard. The price matched what you pay in Antigua, which is pricier than other Guatemalan spots I’ve been to because of the tourist boom. I didn’t realize Casa de León runs two separate buildings, so when I first got to the main address they redirected me to a different location that turned out to be a bit more central and probably quieter, maybe because the main spot was full. The walls between my room and the next one were thin, so sound didn’t travel well—especially when the couple next door were arguing at 2 AM.
