The hotel is already known, but we chose to return because of its convenient location. The rooms are discreet; we had hoped for a bathroom renovation, yet the shower still uses rather flimsy curtains. We were happy to stay again, but the last night a pipe burst in the bathroom, producing a loud noise, water spraying everywhere, and no water the next day. The night‑time caretaker was very kind and did everything possible to stop the leak, only able to shut the water off hotel‑wide. The hotel refused to offer a discount for the ruined night or for the personal items we had to discard because of the burst pipe.

The rooms are very pleasant and authentic. The hotel is right next to the beach and the sea, and getting around is comfortable. Several dining spots are just outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The staff’s attitude was very interesting; the first place seemed to avoid contact with guests. Breakfast was always the same – boiled eggs – which was exhausting after a week of staying here. There were plumbing problems: occasionally the shower flooded the whole bathroom, and water would drip from there. We asked the staff for help, and they tried to solve it, but the water still leaked a little more. Perhaps it’s just an old building.

“Great location especially for families.”

The location is absolutely ideal – literally across the street from a lovely little swimming beach. It’s a 2‑minute walk to a great beach club with good food and drinks, then a 10‑15‑minute walk to the harbor with lots of shops, coffee, and restaurants. It doesn’t get much better. The rooms are very basic, which is reflected in the reasonable price.

Directly on the beach, wonderful. Two windows in the room and one in the bathroom. Super. Nothing else.
