“One Night Stay in Newton Under Roseberry”

We stayed in room 6 while visiting Middlesborough, and the location was handy with a beautiful surrounding scenery and a free, spacious car park that required just entering your registration; the road was busy during the day but quiet at night. The upstairs neighbours were quiet and considerate, and having a ground‑floor room was a plus. The staff were kind and helpful, and we enjoyed a convenient dinner at the pub next door. However, despite asking for the heating to be turned off, the heated towel rail in the ensuite stayed on all night, so we had to cover it with towels to avoid burns, and the bedroom radiator also turned on in the morning, which was disappointing; I felt the rate we paid was expensive for the standard of accommodation.

“Comfy room, great location, friendly staff, great food”

The location is great for hiking, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the food was excellent.
