We loved staying at the castle; it was quiet and peaceful with an inspiring vibe and plenty of space for hanging out. The little garden added to the charm, and I can picture how lovely it would feel in autumn or winter, enjoying the roomy interiors and calm atmosphere. It’s perfect if you want to really unplug, enjoy the silence, and get a great night’s sleep. The hosts were super kind and helpful.

“Stylish, unique, with wonderful owners!”

We arrived late at night and Mr. Frantisek was waiting for us, which was a nice touch. If you want a unique place to stay, this is it. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Guests can also use a separate upstairs area with sofas and tables. There’s a fridge stocked with a good selection of wine at a fair price, and you can settle the bill later with the owner. Breakfast was a mix of buffet and served upon request, delicious and varied. The location is convenient for sightseeing, just 30 minutes from Cesky Krumlov or the surrounding area of Ceske Budejovice. Peaceful, pleasant, and stylish :) I recommend it. The only suggestion isn’t a complaint about the property: when we entered Ostrolov Castle into our navigation system, it led us to buildings in the forest, but Mr. Frantisek directed us correctly.
