“Did not stay at all, once we saw the place”
Nothing positive. The kitchen smelled like old cooking oil and was dirty, nothing like the photos. The bathroom was old and very dirty. Carpets were stained. Walls were dirty and the staircase had broken panels. The bedroom had unclean linen, a dirty carpet and walls. The mattress was uncomfortable. I didn’t stay at all. The room smelled like mould. There were three flights of stairs. With 64‑ and 72‑year‑old sisters with COPD, this property should not be let out.
“Hygiene Improvement”
Room 15 appeared clean, but the location was not.
Every night was noisy from food deliveries, the room was cold with no heating, the window didn’t close fully, the fridge didn’t work at all, and there was no socket near the bed; the only response from the property was “apologies for this.”
The location was good, but it was inconvenient.
“I’d recommend it, gorgeous rooms well looked after.”
The staff were lovely and the facilities were exceptional, but I had to turn up in person because the check‑in went down, which felt a bit silly though it wasn’t a problem with the property itself.
