The location is good, just a 10‑minute walk from the metro; breakfast is decent and the house is very pretty, but the room I stayed in, number 5, had no Wi‑Fi signal – I had to leave the room to get internet.

We booked last minute and found this tiny hotel to be an exceptional value; the staff were lovely and went the extra mile to carry our luggage up to the top floor even though there was no proper lift, the historic building is insanely cool, and the room featured huge old windows and plenty of space to move around with very snugly big beds; breakfast was decent in an attractive room, and the garden was relaxing and bathed in sun. The only minor issue was that traffic noise was quite loud at night, so ask for a room overlooking the garden; breakfast was perfectly fine but nothing special.
