The breakfast was lovingly and freshly prepared, with new little treats each day. Every table is set with a different elegant collector’s service, very elegant and antique at the same time.

Yes, this was a real treat. The hotel room was completely spacious, with extremely fine details. The bed was perfect and the staff were absolutely great. We really liked the breakfast. We felt at home and welcomed. We also got parking in the back yard. You stay right in the center of Wernigerode, which is incredibly cozy. Nothing to complain about.

Check‑in was straightforward and easy. The room was tasteful and furnished with love for detail. Despite the city centre location, there was absolutely no noise problem. The breakfast was abundant, of excellent quality, and very lovingly presented. Because of the central location, we could reach all sights on foot, and the car could stay parked. We were also very satisfied with the parking situation. The hotel only has a very limited parking allotment and is only partially suitable for larger vehicles – fifty metres further on Johannisstrasse there is a public parking lot with large, easily accessible spaces. Therefore, “parking” is no problem at all, even with the hotel’s central location. Everything was excellent – nothing to criticize.

I fully agree with the positive reviews here. The hotel’s location in the heart of Wernigerode’s old town is perfect. The town’s sights, restaurants, and shops are essentially right outside the door. We stayed from 10 to 14.10.2026 in room 2, which left no desire unfulfilled in terms of equipment. It’s very spacious and a mix of rustic and modern décor down to the details, extremely tasteful and cozy. The breakfast is abundant and tasty. The lovely ambience of the breakfast room and the very quiet atmosphere stand out from other hotels. A special mention goes to the owner’s friendliness and the staff, who made us feel truly welcome as guests. The stay was simply wonderful!
