“I would stay again. We made friends in the area.”
The spot was decent, tucked into the third tower on the second floor with a nice view of the pool. Right outside the door was a small mall that did the job, complete with a convenience store, a few decent restaurants, a laundromat, and Starbucks. The Wi‑Fi and TV generally worked fine, and the SMDC facilities were clean. The host was friendly and offered a good deal, and there were no roosters or dogs, just the usual plane noise. On the downside, roaches were a problem—many in the hallway, though that’s common in Manila. The building sits under a flight path, so low‑flying planes made the mornings noisy. Traffic around the area was bad, and it rained most of the time, which probably didn’t help. The studio was small and the kitchenware could be better.
