We loved everything, thank God. Fabio and Maiara welcomed us super friendly, many kind people. Simple place but feels like home, photos match, near Rio Paraguaçu and Bohemia bars. We'll come back whenever we can.

I booked a private bathroom room a month ahead, but the owner gave me a shared one instead, because a group had taken my room. He said it was their mistake, but he chose to rent it to the group for profit. He was rude, unprofessional, no empathy, and I had to scramble for another place in a crowded city. It was stressful, time‑wasting, and I can't recommend it.

The hostel sits close to the river bars, great if you have transport. But it looked like a half‑finished construction – some details still missing, beds, fans, wiring need fixing. The owner is remodeling, which can be annoying. GPS directions are confusing unless you head by the river.
