The host was helpful and answered every question even though there was a language barrier. The place is hard to get to, especially at night, and I wouldn’t suggest it if you’re on a cruise. The price doesn’t cover meals or air conditioning, and you have to arrange your own transport.

“Abusivos”

Nothing good at all. They tried to charge us 50 for leaving our luggage there because we arrived a bit early. Breakfast was included but they never offered it to us. They demanded 20 or more for a fan since the room had no air conditioning, and when we refused to pay extra their attitude became very grotesque. They lied about the taxi service, claiming it was bad when it wasn’t. The stay was hard because it was a house on the outskirts and we felt robbed of money.

The room was pretty and clean, but you have to go out to the common areas to reach the bathroom. The hosts were sweet but we felt a bit watched, and we had to ask them to open the gate to the courtyard when we wanted to go for a drive.

It’s authentically great, like being at home. Renata cooks wonderfully and abundantly, Michele brightens the conversation with her smile, and the couple of hosts is something we haven’t found in a long time. For all the two‑wheel enthusiasts arriving in Civitavecchia to tour the area, keep this spot in mind. It’s only about 20 minutes from the port, you can leave your bikes safely on the property, and they’ll prepare a great dinner at a very good price.
