The spot is great. I liked the small kitchen and the rustic vibe inside the room. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I have nothing else to add. The building is older but still pretty cute.

“Small boutique motel in need of updating”

Check‑in was smooth and the bed was comfy. However, unlike most hotels on the highway, this one sits right on the road with a train track across the street and a lot of trains passing by—earplugs are a must 😆.

“Would not stay there again due to the noise and disruption of sleep.”

We liked the spot—it was on the main road, easy to reach places, and great for walking our dog. The walls were paper‑thin, so we could hear people in the room next to ours after midnight, as well as dogs barking, car doors slamming, and people chatting all night.

The room and kitchen are huge, which is great if you want to stay in town for a long time, but the place is a bit off the beaten path and you have to walk a short distance to get anywhere.
