Everything was actually experienced, friendly, and the staff did everything to help you as a visitor. I noticed that the hotel is also gaining international recognition and that almost everyone from all nationalities sees it, not just Asians, which says something. It is currently busy during weekends or depending on vacation days. It is especially family‑friendly with a 40‑meter pool, a kiddie pool, and a lifeguard for supervision. For the first time in 25 years I see a lifeguard who regularly checks the water quality at set times—definitely a plus. When traveling to Indonesia, you must realize that patience is a huge factor and that is often the case with everything. Westerners often struggle with this while thinking that hotel guests are on vacation and have time; when ordering something it should be quicker than the 30 to 45 minutes that are due to kitchen organization. It struck me that they do not expect you to stay for lunch because most guests only take an extensive breakfast before doing something else or visiting somewhere. Even as a Westerner I had a moment when I wanted a good piece of meat, like a T‑Bone steak, Eye Rib or Spare Rib. Unfortunately, maybe something for the future regardless of price. The options exist: meat can be frozen, purchased, marinated, and vacuum‑sealed for three weeks in the cooler; when I think about it, the water already tastes in my mouth.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool was small and the chlorine smell was strong. There weren't many food choices at the breakfast buffet.
