The bed was firm, so I didn’t have back pain. However, the guard key stopped working several times, the bed was hard, and I woke up with back pain in the morning.

The place was spotless and the staff were very friendly, and I appreciated that breakfast was free along with free coffee. Unfortunately, it seemed there were mites; my wife got bitten and it was a hassle—next time I'll bring a mite patch.

Having a large public bath was a real treat, and the fact that breakfast was included was a big help; the staff were also very kind. The only drawback was that the station was a bit far from the hotel.

The room turned out to be wider than I had imagined, which was a big plus, and being on the top floor let me see all of Mount Tsukuba, making the stay comfortable. The downside was that the train station was a little far, and that distance felt worse when it rained.
