The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The food is sublime. The staff are incredibly friendly. I only got to stay one night.

The room was lovely and exactly what we expected; a bath in the bedroom was a nice addition. The lady who welcomed us on arrival was very warm and friendly. The only downside was how hot it got, and because the Velux window closes automatically when it rains, it was hard to keep the room cool. A fan was provided, which worked but was noisy, so we didn’t sleep as well as we’d hoped. An air‑con unit might be a good addition, especially if temperatures keep rising in the UK.

The location was close to town, opposite the river. The room was decorated and furnished to very high standards. I would stay again and definitely recommend it to others. Nothing, everything was perfect—thank you.
