“Prima en uitstekend”
Clean and tidy, the room was beautiful and large. No complaints. There was no personal, face‑to‑face contact at the front desk.

The hotel sat in a nice shopping street and everything was close by, yet the room was dusty, the bathroom was a bit grimy, there were cracks in the basin, and to reach the light point I had to walk through half the room in the dark – a real challenge. We had booked the Bronzen Koets but ended up in a different hotel of the same chain, which was very confusing.

I liked that it was in the city centre, but the hygiene was terrible – no decent check‑in, the room was filthy, dirty dishes were on the landing, the TV was wired together and not fire‑safe, and I found several hairs in the shower.

The phone contact was very friendly, but the place was dirty – even the toilet wasn’t properly clean. The attic room was stifling in October and the bed got cold at night because the old Velux window didn’t seal properly. The fridge was so loud you had to unplug it at night. At €115 per night it’s completely overpriced. The bathroom is a tiny wet‑room, the sink barely fits in the room, the stairs look more like a ladder, which isn’t a big deal but worth knowing – not suitable for older guests.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel’s city‑centre location was handy. However, there’s no elevator and cars can’t pass the street where the hotel sits, making it tough with heavy luggage. The hotel was hard to locate because there was almost no signage, and the reception was actually at another nearby hotel – I would have never found it without asking a stranger.
