There are few options in the area, close to Namib Naukluft National Park. The breakfast was disappointing: only two toasts and a hard‑boiled egg left in the fridge the night before, and instant coffee to make yourself. The room was quite old, the mattress hard and the bed frame noisy, and hot water for the shower was only available in the evening.

Great location! Frauke is an amazing host 😍 We learned a lot about farm life. The Olive Trail is definitely worth it.
Unser Aufenthalt war total schön!! Die Eigentümer sind super lieb, geben tolle Tipps und sind so herzlich. Sollten wir jemals wieder in der Gegend sein, würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Fantastic. We had a great time. The room was spacious and very clean. The covered outdoor area was a real bonus. I thought three days might be a bit much in the middle of nowhere, but this oasis was welcoming and relaxing. Our hosts embraced us and were a mine of information. We were given access to a terrific walk on the property that really showcased what the property had to offer. Remember where you are heading – the food provided was perfectly good, but you should stock up on indulgences such as alcohol if you want them. Nothing. Temper your expectations of what to expect in a remote location and you will be fine.
