The bed was comfy, the room was very spacious, and the building was quiet and calm; the restaurant is on the ground floor and everything was fine.

The room and bathroom were large and clean, the staff were courteous and the food was good; the floor with the rooms was much better than the rest of the hotel, but the exterior and interior look need modernising and come across as sad.

Cascina Marisa is a pleasant hotel in the suburbs of Milan; a 30‑minute bus ride gets you to the station, then a tram takes you to the city centre. It’s probably the cheapest option out there. If you take the train from Milan, you walk along the outlet and then a lit highway that feels a bit scary; there are no empty roads or pedestrian paths, so it’s best for people who arrive at night like me. The hotel itself is cute, with good beds, bathrooms, a non‑working safe in the wardrobe, and Wi‑Fi. Breakfast is available on site, a bit repetitive but still fine, and it’s easy to reach the centre without spending too much. Across the street is a good Sena supermarket. Nothing else to complain about, everything is fine.
