The staff were friendly, yet the room we were given on the ground floor felt like a den; opening the window put you at the same level as people on the café terrace. We asked for a better room and had to pay an extra 30€ per day for an upgrade. That was outrageous! We accepted it because we had no other option and didn't want to ruin our vacation, but at that price we could have stayed at a far better hotel.

The location was excellent, super‑central, and the views were spectacular; the hotel was simple but very clean and cozy. Parking in the area was difficult.

The location and the views were nice, but there was no air conditioning. On the hot days we stayed, the ceiling fans were insufficient, which made the stay imperfect.
