We loved absolutely everything. The people were lovely, there was a very cute dog, and the room was perfect in every way. Even the small touches, like the afternoon tea and biscuits, made it extra special. Breakfast was amazing too. The location was perfect, a short walk to the little town and super close to the beach for sunset.

We liked the location and the air conditioning. We did not like the cleanliness, the room setup, we entered the room through a small door that leads to the shower, the toilet lid was very stained, the towels were stained. We found the service far below expectations. We didn’t like the service; it felt like we were bothering the staff. The breakfast was nothing special. I found it very weak. The French bread was stale. Among other details. I think we didn’t understand the lodge’s concept. We felt nothing matched the rating.

The place is perfect—no complaints at all. The location is great, the stay was flawless, and the breakfast had a lot of warmth. Ruth was a delight, Simon the dog was a very involved guardian, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were excellent, and there was a wonderful afternoon tea. I loved it and will definitely come back. The only thing that could be seen as a minor gripe is that there’s no TV, which I miss because we’re active, but I understand the hotel’s goal is to get us off screens and rest.
