Cleanliness and orderliness were kept to the highest standard; everything was arranged in a very attractive and organized manner – simply excellent. The staff didn’t really interact with us, and there wasn’t even a place to get hot water; we only found out at checkout that we could have actually gotten morning tea from them.

The absolute highlight of this place is “Sampa”. He’s basically the hotel manager and also a tour guide. He can help with everything and a bit more. Extremely friendly and service‑oriented. We had a bright, nice room with a balcony that suited us perfectly. We were missing a coffee/tea maker in the room and the mosquito net that had been promised, but the hotel has pledged to sort that out. The hotel does not offer any food. We had no option to eat, at least not breakfast.

Very nice host! Mr. Sampa will make sure you have a wonderful stay. Come and stay if you are in Ratnapura. We had to change rooms because of construction but otherwise no problems 🙂
The stay was flawless; the room was roomy and cozy, exactly what we needed. The manager treated us with genuine kindness :) The place looks great.
