The location was great, the rooms were cute and clean, but the service was the worst I’ve experienced in all of Japan; both staff members were rude and seemed unwilling to help, they refused to give us a second blanket because “everyone only has one blanket,” even though we paid a premium for comfort. The bed was extremely small, not a standard double, and the self‑check‑in kiosks didn’t work for either check‑in or check‑out. It was the most expensive nightly stay I’ve had and definitely not worth the price.

It was the biggest room on our Japan trip and very close to the station, but it was still quite far from Nikk and there was no breakfast offered.

The room was new and spacious, the complimentary products were very good and varied, and it’s next to the station and not far from the city center.
