La Croisee des Sentiers

The venue itself is great, well marked, beautifully flowered and comfortable. The Zanana room is very pretty, spacious, the bed cozy, the bathroom large. The heated pool was not tested because the weather was not great. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped with a foosball table and a few board games, and the fridge has a compartment for each person. The weather was not kind to us 🤣 a bit “far” from everything but at the same time we’re in Salazie so we know that 😉, it has its charm.

The location is in the heart of hiking trails. The kitchen corner under a veranda has all the necessary equipment to be self‑sufficient. The documentation is available. Nothing.

The accommodation matched the description and photos, we enjoyed our stay and it served as a solid base for our hikes; the pool area is lovely, the room is functional and very clean, and the host is professional and helpful. The only downside was an unpleasant odor over the town and the limited restaurant options.

The location is ideal for trekking in the Mafate and Salazie cirques, and the welcome, common area equipment, and rooms are all top quality. Nothing to add.
