“Carpetes nao sao bons companheiros de viagem.”
The hotel had carpets and my wife suffered an allergic reaction, but the front‑desk staff fixed it. She first offered a different room, but the issue stayed, so she cancelled the booking and guaranteed a refund.
“Great central location down town and close to everything. Very hospitable vibe with the happy hour.”
I loved the daily wine and cheese at 4 pm; it made the hotel feel welcoming and let me chat with other guests before heading out for dinner. The in‑room coffee was disappointing—using creamer instead of powdered milk would have made it drinkable, but it was undrinkable.
“Enjoyed the stay. Close to the river walk and tons of great restaurants.”
Convenient location, but there’s no ice machine.
“It’s the best place to stay in historic Savannah!”
The location is great and the room is lovely. I wish there were vending machines.
“A very comfortable historic hotel ideally located for a walking tour of Savannah. Would stay here again.”
The spot is excellent in the historic district, right next to the Pink House, and there are good cafés for breakfast or lunch just a few minutes’ walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, there’s no bar or lounge for drinks, and the morning coffee is lacking.
