This is a highly convenient option for overnight travelers, with the railway stations and ferry terminal within walking distance, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The superb Peña Candil restaurant is just around the corner. Not a complaint, but be aware that the location means that this would not be the best choice if your aim is to spend some time exploring Santander.
