Breakfast wasn’t offered on the days we stayed because we were the only pension guests, but the staff arranged a simple transfer to the neighboring location (3 minutes walk) with a very good breakfast. The three days were not too hot, so it was tolerable, but with occasional record temperatures in summer of 26, the upper floor could become quite warm without air conditioning.

Overall, everything was very good. The location is top‑class, right next to a paddle‑boat rental. The chef was very nice and accommodating, even bringing our food to the room because the restaurant was full. I can understand why the full restaurant is popular, as the portions are large and incredibly tasty! The staff we interacted with were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was booked without any issues and was very generous and good. All in all, a successful stay; the barn is highly recommendable! Thanks for the short but lovely time with you! The only annoyance was the “creaky” beds.
Breakfast was offered at the nearby colony tavern, which was great! The double bed creaked with every movement, but otherwise we were satisfied.

The staff were very friendly, the location is great for cycling and paddling, and the food and breakfast were excellent.

It was a very nice weekend overall. The landlords and staff were very friendly, the area is calm, and the paddle‑boat rental and boat launch are a short walk away. The breakfast and restaurant were delicious (home‑made Kassler). This place is recommended for anyone looking for peace.
