The staff were exceptionally attentive, and the location outside the busy center kept the area relatively quiet; the view of the river was nice. However, our room was split between the bathroom and bedroom, and the bathroom only had shutters and a mosquito ‘bar’ without glass or a wall, so you could hear everyone outside – you’d have to plan your bathroom visits carefully.

The service was exceptional and the staff treated me like family; breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the pool offered a nice break from the morning activities before heading out for the night. A handy coffee shop is near the pool, and a short Grab ride gets you into town. I can’t find any faults with the resort, and the gardens were beautifully maintained.

I found the location actually very good, because we could navigate easily with Grab and a motorcycle; without those aids it would be difficult. The breakfast was very tasty and they were responsive to requests and changes, which made us feel very comfortable. The fitness room looked neglected and could use an overhaul, but I think very few guests would actually use the gym.
