Conte Cavour is clean and quiet, not flashy or glamorous, but it’s in a great central location close to the metro and run by Antonella, who is kind, super helpful, and efficient. The bed was comfortable, the water hot with good pressure, the air‑con was very welcome, and there was free Wi‑Fi; the building is a solid, typical old Naples residence with a large inner courtyard. Take some 20c coins to use the lift at the back of the courtyard to lift your luggage to the second floor! The shower is tiny, but the hot water is reliable.

“Top choice for Napoli stay”

The staff were friendly! She always had a big smile on her face! The location was extremely convenient – both the metro and train station were within a 3‑minute walk! Oh! How precious it is to have an elevator! The Wi‑Fi signal is a bit weak, but that is totally okay!

Antonella, the hostess, was fantastic—extremely friendly and packed with solid tips for local restaurants that only real locals frequent. The spot itself is spot on: right across from the metro, right in the heart of the old historic quarter, and not far from other cool neighborhoods.

After a long wait outside the door amid trash and an unbearable stench, I left without staying when the staff called me to explain that the issue wasn’t the property’s fault, just the grim area and the wait.

The place sits close to the city center, near the bus stop and two metro stations—Piazza Cavour and Museo. The room was spotless, the air‑con was cold, the shower water was strong, and the building was quiet enough to sleep without outside noise. The only gripe: the lift requires you to use your leg or pay 0.050 cents to operate it.
