The room was a quiet oasis—clean, fully equipped, and with complimentary coffee and water. The garden had a table and chairs that were handy if you wanted to step outside. Linda and Jurn were some of the kindest hosts I've met; they even arranged a fresh, local breakfast early each day for my competition. All in all, a great stay—just remember it’s a room in their house, not a hotel.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and everything was spotless. The location is super quiet, and Mechelen’s city center is a short walk away. The room itself was a bit tight, so the beds were close together, which made nighttime bathroom trips a little awkward. We also struggled to turn on the TV, and there’s no door between the shower and the bedroom—nothing major, but worth noting.
