The rooms were spacious, the breakfast offered many options and the staff were helpful, yet if people are staying on the floor above you can hear them.

“exceptionally large room, extremely friendly staff, not enough employees”

The only person on duty when we checked in was exceptionally kind; I deducted points because the company chose to understaff to cut costs. She was juggling other duties, the phone line wasn’t connected through the building, so it took a while to get in. She apologized and was very understanding, and I know it wasn’t her fault—if just one more employee had been present, the issue would have been avoided. The brand’s decision to understaff to the point of affecting guests is a real problem.
