The proximity to everything is convenient, but it can be a bit noisy during the day.

Bedroom is small but cute and clean, the bed is comfy. Pool was small but cute and clean. Close to where I was doing yoga, with a few cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff didn't speak very good English but they were friendly. I had an unfortunate experience with 3 cockroaches in my bedroom and bathroom (on 3 separate occasions. Staff had to remove them each time so presumably 3 different cockroaches). I asked to move rooms but none was available. I was refunded one night's worth for this, but the fact that it happened several times is worrying (I've never had that in Bali before). There were also 3 electricity blackouts during my stay (on 3 different days). One of them was for about 8 hours. Given the heat (and my fear of finding more cockroaches) going without AC and light for any length of time was awful to say the least (it affected this hotel and a few others but not the whole area btw). However I was refunded one night's worth for this which I do think was very reasonable. Other than these 2 unfortunate experiences. the walls are very thin so if your neighbour is noisy it's terrible (someone was on the phone late at night for hours while I was trying to sleep). And the pebbles on the shower floor are really difficult and unstable to walk on. It's very difficult to get around this area without a scooter as there are no pavements whatsoever and the traffic is insane

The room and bathroom are incredibly clean, considering the setup. Nothing else to note.

I spent three nights at Rashita Homestay and the staff really stood out to me. The room’s aesthetic, the peaceful and quiet setting, and the friendliness of everyone made it a highlight. The only hiccup was that the key to the main door was sometimes difficult to use when locking or unlocking.
