“Muy agradable”
Everything was good, the quality and price were correct. I found the room a bit small, but it is an old hotel with a lot of charm.

Right in the heart of the town overlooking a bar‑restaurant area, the weekly market happens in the streets around the hotel. There are two entrances: one on the main street, a maze of art leading up to the first floor where the restaurant and reception are, and another on a side street where you can park for check‑in but not leave your car (parking is a 3‑10 minute walk; we parked for free at Place Henri Guitard). The rooms are a floor above (two floors from the street, no lift). The whole building feels old‑world charm with artwork by the chef and others. At one end of the corridor there’s a small lounge/library for guests. The rooms are simple with vintage furniture, a decent bathroom, and the A/C works well. The bed is comfortable. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because it was pretty empty and the town was not busy, but it looked pleasant. We ate on the corner beneath the hotel and later found another street behind it with several interesting spots. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you have time, visit the Modern Art museum, a 5‑minute walk, which has a great collection of artists who came to Ceret. Nothing negative; it’s simple but comfortable with charm (old armoires, paintings). If you want all the frills and modernity, this isn’t for you.
