The hotel was very clean and welcoming, with affordable prices and a short stay that was perfect; I’d recommend it. The downside was that breakfast was paid.

“Comfortable stay in a charming village, but the room could be better ventilated and equipped.”

The place is very motorcycle-friendly, with a welcoming owner and a secure garage just for bikes. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breglia itself is a charming historic village with narrow streets, old houses and an authentic vibe, so it’s worth spending time exploring the area. The main problem was the lack of fresh air in the room: the entrance door and window are essentially the same large glass opening, making ventilation hard, especially at night, so the smell of cleaning products stayed strong. The apartment has a kitchen, but no basic dishes, glasses or cutlery were supplied. The concrete floor felt cold, and a small rug would have made the room cozier. Breakfast was very basic.

Being close to hiking trails is great, and the owner’s reception was friendly. The food was good. The downside was that every sound from the rooms and the hallway could be heard, the bed itself made noise, and the mattresses weren’t very new.

I stayed in a room that had every comfort; the breakfast was excellent and varied, and the motorcycle parking in a private covered garage was safe.
