Altitude Hostel

The location was very good and the staff member who served me was very friendly. The cleanliness was terrible; I didn’t even have the courage to shower. I had to go to the market, buy disinfectant and clean the bathroom myself. There was a strong urine smell everywhere, trash piled up in the kitchen, a lot of mold on the bathroom walls. The cloths were dirty, it seemed like they cleaned with a mop but didn’t clean the mop itself, so it spread the dirt, and the bathroom urine was in the rooms. I had to wash the cloth, remove the dirt from the previous room, fill a bucket with clean water and then go to another place. The room was clean, but I could only tolerate the smell coming from outside after I washed the cloth and mopped the room with disinfectant too. Also, the listing mentioned a double bed, but they gave me a room with a single bed.

The spot is in a great area, but finding it was a hassle—no signage and it took a while for staff to show up. The bathroom and kitchen ventilation are awful; stale air and a bad odor lingered. Overall, decent location but the lack of basic amenities made it uncomfortable.

Location is solid, everything nearby is convenient.

“Muito sujo”

The place sits in a good spot, but cleanliness was a nightmare—bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, soap scum and hair everywhere. The furniture was shoddy; one chair was broken and could have caused injury. Not worth it.

“perfeito”

The hotel is in a great neighborhood, and the staff were incredibly helpful, meeting all my expectations. Getting to nearby attractions was a breeze.
