The location is very convenient. Very close to grocery stores and the Kwarc restaurant with very good food—recommended by the cottage owner.

A fantastic spot for a family break, complete with a sandbox, swings, a fire pit area and a grill. The owner was very sweet and helpful, and the cabin was spotless. Everything matched my expectations.

The cabin was well equipped, and its location made it an ideal base for various trails. The owners were very friendly, and the place welcomed pets and children alike.

The cabin itself was pleasant, though I would say it’s best for up to two people. The surrounding area featured swings, a fire pit, a hammock, and a covered gazebo with a large table. The tracks nearby are convenient, and the trains are infrequent enough not to disturb rest (my daughter even enjoyed watching them). Two stores, a small market, and two restaurants plus a pizzeria are close by. Trails are nearby, but with a dog you must be careful because not all areas are accessible. Despite having two separate bedrooms that suggest accommodation for at least four people, the kitchen is unsuitable for more than two: only three mugs (plus a few brown plastic glasses that should have been replaced), three dinner plates and three additional plastic ones, a handful of breakfast plates, a tiny microwave, and no space for storing supplies during the stay. Even though the beds are comfortable, those who like a firmer pillow must bring their own. The wardrobe has four cross‑shaped hangers (why those? many guests think that’s enough for a week’s luggage) and no space to unpack a bag (the bag stays unpacked). A major downside is that there’s a second cabin on the property, which isn’t mentioned in the listing. The lack of separation between the two properties means that if you arrive with a dog, you can’t let it loose because it might wander into the neighbor’s yard, which they may not want. In our case, the other occupants had a dog, but ours had to stay on a leash all day instead of enjoying the freedom we expected. Another drawback was the gate to the owners’ house that was always open, so even when we were alone and the other cabin was empty, we still weren’t truly alone and the dog had to stay restrained.
