The location was great, the bed and robes were very comfortable, and the value for money was excellent; Jackson was very helpful and the owners offered great advice, and the gardens were immaculate. It felt a little dated and musty, but that didn’t really bother me.

Nothing. This was the worst experience we have ever had and would recommend not to book here. The owner was so rude and treated us with such disrespect because we mistakenly entered into the wrong room after we were guided by her telephonically and given the lock combination for the key box. This was only the start of the bad experience at Waterside Lodge. I would never book here again

I was blown away by the flawless stay; every detail was polished and thoughtfully arranged, and the location offered a stunning sea view. The pre‑arrival information about the site and self‑check‑in was spot on, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the Honeymoonsuite, which we absolutely adored. It was pure luxury, and I couldn’t find any negatives.

The highlight for us was the location: the venue was impeccable and the reception was warm. We enjoyed sweeping views over the lagoon and the Wilderness Ocean, surrounded by trees and birds that greeted us each morning. The setting was very quiet, free from traffic noise, and we could walk to the nearest restaurants and shops. Everything felt like a home away from home, and the owner and assistant were always available if we needed anything.
