“Komuna hotel”
The location was fine, but the receptionist barely spoke English, the hotel looked like a communist era building, there was no air‑conditioning, and sleeping was impossible without an open window.
Maintenance needs improvement.
The location was good if you want to drive the Transfăgărășan, right on the Sibiu‑Bucharest highway, but the rooms were cold.
The price matched expectations, but the shower head was broken.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a larger apartment than the one we booked, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and both the restaurant and Burger bar were perfect—nothing to complain about.
