Protezione della Giovane is a female‑only hostel in Verona’s historic center, just a four‑minute walk from Ponte Pietra and a 400‑meter stroll to Sant’Anastasia. Each room features air‑conditioning, a private bathroom, and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a garden lounge, tea and coffee maker, hairdryer, refrigerator, and wardrobe. Bicycle parking, a communal lounge, and nearby attractions such as the Verona Arena, Piazza Bra, and Castelvecchio Museum enhance its appeal.

In the old city near points of interest, restaurants, and a supermarket, this hostel serves as a women’s shelter, so security is excellent (even though there’s no lock on the dorm room door) and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of steps. Four comfortable beds with large lockers, but only one socket. A second room has a small fridge, kettle, table, and chair—the microwave is on another floor. The room is cleaned every day and is spacious. No key to the front door—you must get buzzed in, which isn’t possible between 11 pm and 9 am. Women and their kids live here, so it can get noisy at times, but they are largely separate from the dorm. Quiet at night.

The place is very bright, large, and airy… even though it’s a shared room, I felt very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and fully equipped. The staff are very attentive and super loving. In general, I don’t like sharing a room; it’s the second time I’ve done it. But for a single night in Verona, it was great.
