“Nice friendly hotel in a superb location.”
Hotel Lois is a smallish hotel in the centre of the old town in A Coruña, right among the bars, cafés, restaurants and shops of the narrow streets. You’re literally a two‑minute walk from the city beach, about a 15‑minute walk via the beautiful seafront promenade to Estadio Riazor (home of Deportivo A Coruña), and another 25‑minute walk in the opposite direction to the Torre de Hecules, the Roman lighthouse, a must‑see. The only complaint I had was that the room was a little too small, making me feel like I was bumping into myself, or poorly laid out. In fairness it did have a Galician window balcony, but it was half‑closed off to the room and you never really got the benefit of it. Also, these properties are old and in that part of town, design options are restricted, so this might be an unfair gripe.
“Muy buena ubicación y estancia muy agradable”
The hotel was very central, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The breakfast was varied and the restaurant, run by the owner herself, was a lot of fun and a great option for meals. The accommodation had a reserved parking nearby, and given the very central location, the price seemed quite reasonable. The room had a small pleasant terrace, perfect for sitting and relaxing after a day of walking and sightseeing. As a suggestion: it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep cold water, especially on hot days. Overall, a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
The hotel’s location, comfort, and coziness were all great.
I stayed at a cozy hotel with extremely friendly staff and unbeatable location, and I would recommend it 100%—there was nothing we didn't like.
“Gran sitio para alojarse en pleno centro de A Coruña”
It was a magnificent choice.
