“Comfortable room fine for short stay”
The room was clean, well equipped, with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The breakfast selection at the Hilton Curio was limited, and the street entrance looked a bit shabby.

Breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean. The Wi‑Fi streaming was poor, and communicating the issue to staff was disorganized; thanks to Manager Nick for helping resolve the Wi‑Fi problem, but the experience of dealing with staff was disappointing and clunky.

The hotel’s location is really excellent, just a few minutes from the metro station. The optional breakfast costs 40AUD per person and is absolutely overpriced; there isn’t even a coffee because the only coffee machine is broken, and the coffee from the kitchen takes forever; a second coffee is only available if you beg a lot, and you’re also asked whether the food is slow enough. The hotel staff, especially at the reception, are rather dismissive, and the small triangular windows in the rooms let in almost no daylight.

The location was good.

The price was reasonable, nothing special. The location was great. Room servicing was poor; you had to ask for anything that would normally be automatic.
