“The staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble. 7 days possibly a bit too long to stay.”
Breakfast was solid, a typical continental spread with fruit juice, cereals, bread, croissants, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, and more; you could dine inside or outside and enjoy a lovely view of the gardens. Dinner, priced around 49 euros, was very good but the selection felt a bit limited and could have been larger; a few simple a la carte options would have been nice. We stayed for 7 days in a scorching climate and there wasn’t much to see nearby, but the 12‑hectare gardens and the pool were wonderful, so we spent a lot of time swimming. Because the menu was narrow, we ventured out to the Isle d'Adam, where many river‑side restaurants are, and to Cerny Pontoise, which also offers good dining; a car is essential since both are 30‑45 minutes away.
