The hotel is close to the destination (Sandom Fukui) and surrounded by many restaurants, so it was very inexpensive—great value for money. I didn’t have any complaints.

The staff were incredibly clean! After arriving, I was offered a tasting that turned out to be delicious. There was also a freezer with free cold dishes, which I enjoyed.

It was a nice place. The renovation was clean and it felt like a nostalgic old farmhouse, and the staff were great—everything was excellent. The freezer had several frozen items for tasting, which was a pleasant surprise. I would like to stay again. The stairs were a bit steep, so if you’re fully drunk it could be scary, but as long as you don’t over‑drink it’s fine. The Wi‑Fi connection was also weak, which was disappointing.

The entire house was rented out, so the rooms were spacious and I could relax comfortably. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Although I didn’t use it, the kitchen and washing machine were convenient. I wish there were makeup remover and facial cleanser available, and a dryer would have been perfect.
