“Very comfortable and clean, didn’t mind hanging in the room!”
The accommodation was tidy, cozy, and welcoming. However, breakfast was advertised as included but was actually sold separately, and parking costs unless you’re a member – which is confusing. The internet and cable were spotty, especially after rain, and it seemed like a lot of the amenities were missing.
The location was convenient, within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. I’m still waiting for a reply to an email I sent to the management team at Courtyard by Marriott on Creighton Road regarding an incident that happened early on July 11th.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast staff were especially sweet, but the prices were high and there was no free coffee or breakfast. The couch cushions in the room needed a deep clean or replacement.
The hotel had a very strong, unpleasant odor throughout the property. The carpets were heavily stained and appeared poorly maintained, which seemed to contribute to the smell. Although the exterior of the hotel looked nice and gave a good first impression, it was very misleading compared to the condition of the inside. Additionally, I did not see any security cameras, which raised concerns about guest safety. Overall, the property needs significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and security. There was also a large gap underneath the room door, big enough to see people walking by. This raised serious concerns about privacy and safety. Additionally, I did not see any security cameras, which added to my concerns about guest safety.
