Unfortunately, the problems during my stay outweighed the entire experience. An extremely disappointing and exhausting stay. On arrival, the bedding had an unpleasant smell. I tried calling reception, but nobody answered. I went out and, after returning, started calling again at around 9 PM. I only managed to get an answer at 1 AM. The line was either busy or nobody picked up. At around 3 AM, I was woken up by a woman shouting, arguing and crying loudly. I woke up frightened and could not get back to sleep. I called reception and explained that I had paid to rest comfortably, not to be scared awake. I told them I would call the police if the disturbance was not addressed. The woman later went outside, but her shouting could still be heard clearly inside my room. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and smells from outside the room also came in. The noise problems continued on the second day, so getting proper rest remained difficult. On checkout day, I requested a late checkout until 3 PM because of my flight. Reception said it would cost an additional 50 riyal, which I agreed to pay. They clearly told me I could pay when I came down to reception. Despite this agreement, a staff member came to my room asking me to check out. I explained the arrangement again and offered to pay immediately, but was once again told to pay downstairs when leaving. Then I received another call saying I had to pay immediately. I asked them to send someone to collect the payment. These contradictory instructions, calls and interruptions meant I could not even relax during the extra time I was being charged for. After the unpleasant bedding smell, disrupted sleep and difficulty reaching reception, I would have expected an apology and a gesture of goodwill, such as complimentary late checkout. I have received complimentary late checkout at other hotels, but here I was charged extra and still repeatedly disturbed. Overall, this was a very poor experience in terms of cleanliness, comfort, responsiveness and staff coordination.

The late arrival was fine. The room had a stove, a large sink, a microwave, and a big fridge. The staff was not very pleasant, except for the receptionist who handled the check‑in and the lady who welcomed us at breakfast. It was really disappointing; they pressured us to leave the room even though the maximum was noon, and at 10:30 they came to knock on our door to leave because the hotel was full. Very bad, especially since I was with my mother, a young child, and pregnant. That’s unacceptable. The breakfast was also mediocre.

Nothing good, even the location is far from Souq Ajaf. The hotel was very bad because they never change the bed linens and don’t provide towels because they’re not available 😳 Also, the parking basement is used as a storage for old furniture and materials that are not fire‑protected.
