The breakfast was tasty, but I think it would be better to offer more choices; we saw a foreign couple leave right after it was served, which was a shame because it looked delicious—maybe they didn't like the chilaquiles, so an alternative would help. The pool was great; the water was still warm at night and we had a lot of fun. The room was lovely and every detail was pretty. The front‑desk lady who greeted us was very friendly, and the gentleman who opened the door for us at night was also nice. Overall, the hotel feels charming, with beautiful rooms, a nice pool, and lovely common areas. On the downside, the morning staff member who worked the early shift on Sunday, May 31, was not friendly at all; she was unhelpful during breakfast and check‑out, with no smile or attentiveness. The hotel is beautiful, so I’d recommend having a more courteous person at reception. Another issue was the beverage service: when we returned at night we asked the gentleman for a bottle of wine, but he said he couldn’t sell it and we weren’t allowed to bring our own drinks, nor could we purchase it there. We ended up drinking water instead, even though I was craving a glass of wine before bed on the terrace.
