Cozy room, extremely central location. From arrival to departure I didn’t meet any staff. Most of the welcome is left to the guest: you must check in with your own documents, read long instruction pages for each step (passing more than four doors to reach the room, connecting to the network, figuring out breakfast, downloading a code and a list of partner bars to check on the map, and you can’t even choose what to eat). In short, a lot of work is put on the guest, and I would have been fine with that if it meant a lower price, since the guest is expected to handle the welcome. Instead, I was asked €5 to leave my backpack on the morning of the return day so I could explore the city without luggage… that didn’t feel fair: a service that is normally included in the price is being charged, even though the guest is taking on many functions that are usually handled by reception staff. The same applies to late‑night arrivals, with a long list of extra fees for access to the property (it’s unclear what that actually covers, since there was no welcome). I would have appreciated more flexibility: just as guests are asked to manage the entire check‑in process themselves, the property should at least allow luggage storage.
