The place is located well. After booking online, I had already contacted the owner to confirm my reservation and he assured me it was still valid. When we arrived, we couldn’t reach the owner for 20 minutes; even a neighbour stepped out to help, saying the owner was probably sleeping drunk. Eventually a sleep‑walking, drunken man in shorts opened the door and asked, “What do you want?” We told him we had booked. He then dressed himself and let us in, pointing out the room. The room was in terrible condition—dirty, with broken floors, and the bedding clearly hadn’t been changed since the previous guests. Seeing all that, we politely told him we wouldn’t stay and left with our things. The drunken owner followed us, standing on the porch, insulting us, shouting profanity across the street, and basically forcing us on a walking, erotic journey. In the end, we had to urgently find another hotel. I definitely do not recommend this place.
I felt scammed by the host because he took us to a friend’s restaurant where the food was low quality but overpriced. It felt like he wanted to help us, not defraud us.
The spot is great, right in the city centre, but if you drive you’ll have to hunt for parking because the streets are very narrow.
The location was fine, and Vasil and Hélèna gave a warm welcome. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
