“A delightful and comfortable way to visit Ollantaytambo, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley.”

The place is in a great spot, and from the rooftop you can see the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. When I missed breakfast for an early train to Machu Picchu, they even packed a fully packed bagged lunch for me. The only downside was that the comforters were too heavy and made the room too warm; a thinner comforter with an optional blanket would be better.

“Great value for money”

The upper‑floor balcony gives a fantastic 360° view that includes the main archaeological site and the Pinkuylluna storehouse. The hotel arranged transport from Cusco airport, a ride for a day trip to Pisac, and a tuk‑tuk to the train station. The staff were very patient with all our questions. Hot water and coca/muna tea were always available in the dining hall, and breakfast was great. They gave us a complimentary one‑hour late check‑out to fit our train schedule to Machu Picchu, and there was a heater in the room.

The staff were very friendly, but the bed felt too small for a couple, and breakfast started way too early – it should stay until 10am.

The location is excellent and the staff are nice, yet card payments cost extra, which is standard in Peru but shouldn't be normalised, especially without prior notice.
