The staff at the hotel were amazing. Karen is a lady of many talents who checked us in, showed us the room, sorted parking and then served breakfast in the morning. What an absolute credit and hard working lady she is! The beds were super comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. the staff in the evening were attentive getting drinks and making sure we had everything. What a great stay and very traditional feel hotel . Nothing - would have been great if we could have had a room together or added a mattress rather than two rooms- however due to late notice ( we only booked that day) we had separate rooms - for our family of 3

The spot is ideal for exploring the city, and the room is spacious but old‑fashioned; it’s an old house. We were assigned a room on the top floor, there’s no elevator and the stairs are narrow, so carrying luggage is a bit tricky.

The spot is spot on, clean, the restaurant and breakfast are solid, and the staff are genuinely caring and kind. The place is well kept and feels like home, especially around Chaumont – thanks to the whole team. Nothing to complain about!
