The Mas is in a beautiful spot outside Saintes-Maries, surrounded by the wild‑romantic Camargue landscape. Next door is a riding stable with Camargue horses that you can watch from the garden, unless they’re on a ride. The property has a nice pool, although we didn’t use it during our single night. The setting is absolutely quiet, especially at night. We stayed in a small room right on the house; there are also larger apartments with private terraces that are a bit more secluded. The German‑speaking host was pleasant and friendly, and the breakfast each morning was truly excellent, offering a wide range of cold and hot dishes, including special and tasty meat and cheese from Camargue cattle and cows, plus various juices, teas, and coffees. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the place is quiet, there’s free private parking, a stable at Mas des Barres, a pretty pool, and the staff were very welcoming!

Thank you for the warm welcome, the charcuterie and cheese board were amazing, with so many great regional ingredients. The room was very comfortable and very warm. Thank you for your generosity. The breakfast was superb.
