The staff were outstanding, offering a warm welcome and helpful advice, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and the English breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

It’s close to the city, and you can order anything from Pickme. Cleanliness is poor; the bathtub is good but the hot water doesn’t always work; there’s no blanket in the room; and the hotel is a bit hard to find.

The room was very large with a big bed, but there was very little lighting so reading was impossible, Wi‑Fi was barely available only on the landing, and you have to climb 50 steps with luggage before reaching the cottage.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bath was a nice addition, though it looks quite outdated and discoloured in person. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work from the room, so we had to sit on the balcony at the front door to get a signal.
